1. ...sent a handwritten letter? Oh I don't know. The last one I wrote I know I never sent... in fact its right over there under some stuff, and the last one I sent has to have been over a year and a half ago.
2. ...baked something from scratch or made something by hand? I think these questions are too hard. I made salad? Does that count? If you think about it, who really makes anything from scratch any more? I made cookies, but I bought Crisco and other such packaged goods. Probably cookies.. the ones I complained about on my website that I regreted starting because it was a 30 minute commitment.
3. ...camped in a tent? Never. Unless we count mini-tent from IKEA, in the middle of the living room and I think that was over a decade ago. Same goes for living-room-furniture-fort.
4. ...volunteered your time to church, school, or community? This week. Although I'm always trying to exhaust myself by integrating more such activities into my life.
5. ...helped a stranger? I don't know. Define help. I think being nice to people when they don't expect it does more help then most people know. I like to hold the door open. Remember please and thank you. Smile. Carry something for someone elderly. Offer someone a pen when they're fumbling in their bag on a cell phone. Little things. Neighborly things that people forget in big cities.
