what a great weekend! we spent friday night at my house watching a little bit of tv, playing cards and listening to music. i like to do that. especially the less that we watch tv. i don't know why everyone loves the 'boob tube' so much. there's no interaction, no conversation, no nothing. just staring off into space. but we only watched tv for a little bit, so that made me happy.

saturday was great, too. i came to work and did a little overtime. and i'm finished that job now, so i don't have to worry about staying past 5 anymore, or working during my lunch. then i went shopping for a little bit and got a nice new pair of grey pinstripe pants and a fuzzy, comfy big white sweater. the best part is that it was all for $34 including tax. that makes shopping even better, when its cheap. and there are sales. mind you, this time of year is the best for that. whatever people say about boxing day is not true. the real sales are in the of january and the month of february. because no one has any money and the malls are empty.

then i went home and had a nap. ah, naps. such wonderful and simple delights of life. my cousin had a fundraiser at a local sports bar on saturday night. there were $5 tickets for door prizes, draws for 2 jersey's, a 50/50 draw, and silent auction. plus, of course, drinking and pool. we had a great time there and stayed until close. then we went back to mike's house and kept the party going until 7:15am. isn't that craziness? i haven't done that in a while, but it was fun. i only had 6 drinks in 10 hours though, so i was alright. can't say the same for everyone else though....

then sunday was a day of rest. and watching tv. and eating a lot of food, because i don't think i ate much on saturday. i also had the opportunity to do a great deal of unpacking. i'm not entirely finished, but pretty close. and laundry, and cleaning. so it was a very productive day, especially because those kind of things help to keep me sane. i can't stand living in disorganization. and i talked to my mom and sister.

and now here i am at work monday morning! i hope this week is as happy as the last one.
