well, instead of doing that i wrote a whole different kind of letter. after much heartache and frustration and making all of my friends and family sick of hearing about my problems, i have a solution. actually, it was my dad's solution, but in his words... if anyone knows about being a jerk, its him.. so he must have the best advice for these types of situations.
i wrote a 4 page letter. i think its very diplomatic and objective. what has changed, what i want, his feedback and a deadline for response. following that, there is nothing to be said or done.
on another note, here's some stuff in a nut shell:
(Sis) Wow, that was a big email! You're not really one for big emails.
Your shoes sound cool - I don't think I have them. However, I do want a new pair that I saw at Aldo. They're pink. And they're like a stiletto type heel. I like pink. I want the shoes, they're $70. So I have to think about them. But the problem with me is that if I want to wait till they go on sale then they probably won't have my size anymore. Very frustrating.
I can't believe Carissa is finally getting married. I was starting to figure that they'd just co-habit forever.... And as for the CD's - I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't send any CDs. I'm at work so I really gotta go, but I'll try and give you a call sometime this week, or you can call me if you want.
Bye for now,
Manda

I got new shoes yesterday! You would be very proud of them,
actually, you may have them yourself. They're cute. They
are closed toed, high kinda flat chunky heeled black shoes
that sort of look old fashioned. I'm so excited. They were
$40, which is more then I usually spend on a pair of shoes
but that's okay, its still not unreasonable. There was
another pair that I liked, but they were kinda more
casual... like these ones I can wear with pants or a dress
or skirt or whatever, they can be dressed up, down and all
over the place whereas the other ones weren't quite so
versatile.
Now I have to go get a new, cute, hip looking pair of jeans
because my other ones are getting boring. The one makes me
look like an old lady and the other
ones I wear all the time and people must be like, "Oh.
She's wearing those SAME jeans again." So I need a new
pair. And on Sunday I bought new Oil of Olay shower soap and it
smells really really yummy, on account of which, so do I.
Carissa is getting married July 3rd!!!!!
Can you believe that? Well, they've been together for
about 4 years, so its believable, but its still kind of
exciting. What else?
Yeah, its gay that I don't get to stay at my job, but that's
alright. I'll get over it. And I think I'll take off into
the sunset. I was going to get in my car with
some stuff and drive to wherever I get and find a nice
little motel and stay there a
little while and maybe I'll get a job in a little small town. But I wouldn't stay, I think I would just do
that to be able to say that I did, you know? Like living in
some little itty bitty speck on the map town for a few weeks
or a month or two working at a truck stop? I think that
would be hilarious fun! And on my way to craziness, I think I could stop and visit
some people in Calgary, Lethbridge and Jasper.
And I think that's all I have to say for right now, except
that I haven't received any of the cds you've sent?????? To what address were you sending these? Or did
you send them at all?
And I make a yummy curry chicken and a mean canelloni, while
we're on the subject of dinner entrees.
